Nah pada postingan Ketiga ini saya mencoba menjabarkan materi dengan tema zener diode, zener diode biasanya digunakan pada alternator pada sistem pengisian kendaraan. postingan lebih lengkap nya dapat dibaca diblog ini.

When the voltage goes beyond its breakdown voltage, this diode will lose to the nature of his-diode. Zener diodes are widely used on the voltage regulator circuit on the alternator.
Example Zener Diode Applications on Motorcycles
Application / use of zener diodes on the electrical system of the motorcycle can be found in a series of charging systems that use AC generator (alternator) with voltage regulator (voltage regulator) electronically, as shown in the figure below:

Based on Figure 2 above, the zener diode works to activate the base of transistor T2 when the voltage is between R4 and R5 have reached the breakdown voltage zener diode. With the operation of the zener diode, causing current to flow in R1 will tend to flow to the masses through T2 and supply electric current to the base of T1 stalled. Thus the rotor current do not get supply of electric current for T1 is not alive (OFF). Alternator rotor will lose magnetism, and the battery charging process will be stopped.
